What is the Empowerment Approach?

This approach offers a proven alternative to the conventional control-based methods typically used to manage behaviour.

  • A neuroinclusive approach to supporting children and young people which promotes a safe, calm and happy environment for all.

  • An approach which can be used in all contexts, from schools (and other educational provision), to clubs and the home, thereby creating consistency for children across all areas of their life.

  • A research-based approach incorporating neurobiology, psychology and coaching. Our programme embraces the latest understanding of trauma, attachment and neurodifference, translating theory into practical tools and utilising a wide range of visual aids.

  • Creates a common language for children, their parents / carers and all adults in and outside of school.
